Frustrated College Students Sue for Tuition Refunds

Many students across the U.S.A. have complained of being denied refunds for tuition and fees after their colleges/universities closed or went online due to COVID-19.

As one NYU student wryly noted, "Zoom university is not worth $50K a year."

Many students feel that they should receive full or partial refunds if their university closed OR went online, as the online experience is simply not the same.

Class action lawsuits seeking recovery of tuition and fees claim that universities violated their contracts with students when they moved classes online.

Additionally, the schools are accused of enriching themselves with tuition revenue they should have returned to students.

Sound familiar? If your college or university closed or moved online due to COVID-19 and you were denied a refund, we would like to hear your story.
